Cycles IQ API
The Cycles IQ API gives your code and your AI agents the cycle model on demand: send a series, name a stored dataset or, by REST, a market from the search, and get its cycles back, with dominant cycles, cyclic RSI, phase and consensus, and projections. Priced per token, with no base fee, the way language-model APIs are priced. No membership needed: a free account starts with a 30-day trial and then continues on the Free plan.
What it is
The measurements of the Cycles IQ model as API calls, by REST and by MCP. Send your own data, or by REST name a market from the search; the model measures the cycles in it.
Every analysis route takes the values in the body of the call: cycle scan and explorer, dominant cycle, DSP filters (detrend, smooth, cyclic RSI), turning points, the cycle consensus. One call, one answer.
Every plan searches the markets (GET /api/data/SearchSymbols) and analyses a market by the id the search returns, with ?datasetid=. The answers carry the cycles, not the prices. The MCP server takes no market data: your assistant brings the series, from another connector, a file or your own numbers.
Store a dataset with your key and name it in later calls with ?datasetid=NAME; the server loads it inside the analysis call. Datasets you uploaded in the app and your streams work the same way.
Push bars from TradingView alerts, NinjaTrader or your own scripts into your feed and analyse the stream like any dataset. Stream updates never count toward your calls; on Pay as you go, ten updates are one token.
The raw price bars of market data are not part of any plan: reading them (the data routes other than the search) needs the feature MarketDataAccess, granted on request for an account. The search and the cycle analysis of markets by id are open in every plan, by REST.
Lars's lenses and cycle scoring dashboards are his own interpretation of the cycles and come only with the Cycles IQ Membership, together with the AI skills, the Knowledge Graph and the sessions with Lars.
In development
A dedicated Cycles language model will read the cycle analysis charts you send to an endpoint and return a written interpretation that follows the interpretation rules of the method. The same reading will be part of the members' dashboards and a lens of the Cycles Knowledge Graph.
Chart interpretation will be billed in tokens like every other call. No release date yet.

Today. Every call needs an account, and signing up is free: a new account starts with the 30-day trial and then continues on the Free plan. FSC members have their own plan at no cost. Pay as you go is set up on request until self-service booking opens. The Cycles IQ Membership includes full API and MCP access.

Write to LarsWhat a token is. Every successful call has a value in tokens: the rating of its route, from 1 for a read to 20 for the analysis of a market by its id (30 for a chart picture), plus one token for every 1,000 data points it works on. A cycle scan of 1,200 values is 3 + 2 = 5 tokens; ten live stream updates are one token. Every successful REST answer names its tokens in the header X-CyclesIQ-Tokens. Your plan limits calls; Pay as you go is billed by tokens. The app's own calls and answers with an error status have no tokens. The cost calculator estimates your calls, tokens and cost for a month.
Limits
Every call with a key or a sign-in counts once on your account, whatever the endpoint, through REST, the MCP and your code alike. "No cap" means the period has no limit in that plan. A call above a limit is answered with an error and a retry time and is not charged.

Outside the count: stream updates (300 a day per stream; on Pay as you go, ten updates are one token), your limits and usage (GET /api/me/*) and the documentation. The month is the calendar month (UTC); calls in the trial count toward the trial only. The numbers are the plan table of 30 September 2026 and are reviewed against real use.
What the API answers: 401 is a missing or expired key. 403 with a message means the route is not part of your plan or needs a feature; waiting does not help, the message says what to do. 429 with Retry-After is the limit of the minute or the day; 429 with an allowance message means the calls of the month or of the trial are used up, and the answer names the plan, when it resets and the way to more. Keys and documentation
Sign in to app.cyclesiq.com (FSC members: app.cycles.org), open Account → API and create a key. The full key is shown once. Send it in the X-API-Key header, or as Authorization: Bearer. The same page shows your plan, its limits and the calls you used.

Connect https://api.cyclesiq.com/mcp in Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code or Cursor and sign in with your Cycles IQ account; a new account starts its 30-day trial there too. The server analyses the data you give it and provides no market data.
